2. Manuscript Format & Structure

Important: IJECS uses a two-column layout for the body text. Submit as a single Word (.docx) or JATS XML file — the journal will apply the final layout.

3. Title, Authors & Affiliations

Title

Font: Bold, 18pt, centered.
Maximum 20 words recommended. No abbreviations.

Author Names & Affiliations

List all authors: First Name Last Name.
Use superscript numbers for affiliations (e.g., Author A¹).
Mark corresponding author with an asterisk (*).

Example:
Odeh O. A.^1*, Okoro O. I.²
¹Department of Electrical Engineering, Academy of Nigeria...

4. Abstract & Keywords

Requirement	Detail
Word Limit	150 – 250 words
Font	11pt, justified
References	Not permitted in abstract

Keywords: 3 to 6 keywords, separated by commas, ending with a period.

5. Body Text, Equations & Figures

Body Text: 10pt, justified, 4mm indent.
Headings: Bold, 12pt (e.g., 1. Introduction).
Equations: Numbered consecutively in parentheses (1), (2). Must be editable.
Figures: Caption BELOW the figure. Min 300 dpi.
Tables: Caption ABOVE the table. Header with grey background.

6. References & Citations

IJECS uses a numbered citation style in square brackets: [1], [2, 3].

Research articles: Minimum 10 references.
Review articles: Minimum 25 references.
At least 60% should be from the last 10 years.
